Detecting the Impact of Climate Change Droughts on Changes in Groundwater Resources. Case Study: Birjand County

Increasing atmospheric anomalies have altered some of the extreme events such as global warming droughts, many climatic components such as precipitation, evapotranspiration, temporal and spatial distribution of precipitation, followed by dominoes of changes in freshwater resources available to communities. Human changes such as changes in the hydrological regime of rivers, changes in the quality and quantity of groundwater, changes in groundwater harvesting rates, changes in groundwater recharge rates, etc. Climate change has a significant impact on groundwater resources and It has a surface due to the impact of climate change on groundwater resources Idols are more indirect and slower to surface water resources, and it is important to monitor the status of these resources and maintain their sustainability under the influence of these changes. Investigating the effects of rising temperatures on water resources in the Middle East region shows that raising the regionchr('39')s temperature to 2 degrees Celsius will reduce water resources by 12 percent, which will increase the challenges and conflicts in the region in the future. Much effort has been made in the last three decades to quantify the effects of climate change on meteorological parameters, in which the general atmospheric circulation models have been presented under various scenarios, resulting from the implementation of most of these models in most scenarios. They indicate significant variations in the amount of water available on a large scale. In Iran, the drop in groundwater level in most plains of the country is also clearly observed. Depletion of groundwater reservoirs, drying up of marshes and springs and even semi-deep wells, and reduction of deep well discharge, alteration of groundwater flow, saline aquifers, saline saline irrigation, desertification, soil erosion And ... most of the plains of the country are classified as "areas with desertification"
